There is no such thing as og:author. I believe you mean article:author.
There is a setting for article:author under All in One SEO, Social Meta, Facebook Settings, Show Facebook Author on Articles. Check that box and then we display the URL you place in the Facebook field in the user profile under Users for each author.

Is there anyway to fill the article:author meta tag with the name of the Author? As opposed to a URL?
The example on the Pinterest Developers site looks like the below:

Pinterest has done things their own way and does not comply with the Open Graph standards. There’s a good article about this here – https://surniaulula.com/2014/03/01/pinterest-articleauthor-incompatible-with-open-graph/
We can look into adding support for Pinterest’s method but we will have to make sure this doesn’t break things for Facebook, Twitter, etc.

I’d prefer to stick with popular standards than change things up.

We’ve tested adding support for multiple article:author tags as per the Open Graph standard but Facebook freaks out and breaks when you have multiple article:author tags so, although this would fix the problem for Pinterest, it would break Facebook sharing.
Unfortunately we won’t be able to support this until Facebook changes their Graph API.
