 * I have been asked to updated a website that has been created with WordPress.
I would like to develop the site offline (not publishing it) until I am satisfied
with its appearance. How can this be done?
    Thanks

 * Set up a local LAMP, WAMP or MAMP (Linux, Windows or Mac) stack on your local
machine. Install WordPress and develop the site before finally pushing the new
   site to your production environment.
 * If the *AMP stuff is unknown to you, just Google the type which is appropriate
to you and you’ll find loads of help pages.
