Official Facebook, Twitter, G buttons?

    Hi Guys,

The official service buttons (Additional Buttons set) provided in our previous version is no longer available in version 7, but complete sharing functionality is retained. We had some compatibility reports with several of these buttons in our old plugin that caused complications as these buttons are not coded by us, but by the services from which they are offered.

So, we were left with our hands tied in solving the problem these instances. This upset some of our publishers, which contributed in our decision to leave them off of the new version–that way, we are able to address any compatibility issues that arise within the plugin as it has been entirely coded by us.

The Facebook Like button is offered in many Facebook-related plugins, and whether this button will be reintroduced into our revamped version at a later date has yet to be determined, but for now, the Facebook Send function, Tweet, and Google+ sharing options are still available in our standard button selection. 🙂

Stick around as our plugin evolves. We have many enhancements planned, and it is still possible that the Like button (and other official service buttons) may be added to this list.

Will you update this topic when the Facebook Like button issue has been resolved?

OK, and what about better icon for Google+? I like the official one (and check other services, I think the icons are a little different)

The Google+ button in our redesigned plugin (v7+) uses the same theme and other styles selected by you, the publisher, in order to appear seamlessly alongside all other featured services. Google+ is one of the sharing options that can be added when you are customizing your Share Buttons apps.
