 * When I turn the chat off, the icon to send a message does not appear. The check
   box to not allow that is unchecked.
 * Please, help.

 * Could I ask you to navigate to Live Chat -> Settings -> Offline Messages -> And
   confirm that the ‘Do not allow users to send offline messages’ option is not 
   enabled?
 * This should then allow the offline chat box to display on the site as intended.
