[resolved] odd/even coloring scheme inconsistent (3d color) (5 posts)

    Tobias,
    the alternating color for odd/even rows shows inconsistencies in some of my tables: Table 3 and 5 show odd rows with the even color, and even rows with an undefined 3d color. Is there an explanation/solution for that?

    See the 3d and 5th table here: http://www.letssport.de/

    Here is a copy of the "Zusatz-CSS":
    `.dataTables_wrapper {
    min-height: 0 !important;
    }

    .tablepress .odd td {
    background-color: ##FEFEDD;
    }

    .tablepress .even td {
    background-color: ##FBFBEF;
    }

    .tablepress td {
    font-family: Calibri;
    font-size: 14px;
    color: #222299;
    }

    .tablepress .row-hover tr:hover td {
    font-family: Tahoma;
    font-size: 14px;
    color: #0000FF;
    background-color: #D9F7E6 !important;
    }

    .tablepress .column-1 {
    width: 140px;
    }

    .tablepress .column-2 {
    width: 120px;
    }

    .tablepress .column-3 {
    width: 120px;
    }

    .tablepress .column-4 {
    width: 60px;
    }

    .tablepress .column-5 {
    width: 120px;
    }

    .tablepress .column-6 {
    width: 60px;
    }

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    The reason for this is that your theme also adds alternating row colors to tables, via some JavaScript code

    jQuery(".post table tr:even").
    	addClass("alt");

    That's probably in the header.php or in the functions.php.

    Then, also not that you are using two # (i.e. ##) in the color codes, where there should only be one.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks for your fast response Tobias,
    I oversaw that my theme tries to touch the same settings and will check that. And will eliminate the surplus #'s of course!

    freundliche Grüße,
    Bram
