 * Hey guys I think there is a date/time bug in Founder. The best way I can describe
   it is the theme is displaying the Post_Date_GMT versus Post_Date. If I switch
   themes the correct date is displayed. I’ve double checked my time zone settings
   and it is correctly set to Los Angeles. Also can verify the displayed Universal
   time (UTC) and Local time are correct. I’ve also verified that the server is
   configured for Los Angeles (GMT-7). If I bring up a calendar widget I see posts
   from 6/22-6/27 but my newest post says “Published June 28, 2019”.
 * I dropped into the database and found the following two examples:
 * **Incorrect**
    Title: [38°9’29.069″ N 109°47’37.32″ W](https://elvisrowephotography.com/?p=66725)
   Post_Date: 2019-06-27 21:09:45 Post_Date_GMT: 2019-06-28 04:09:45
 * **Correct**_ but only because both DB dates are on the same day._
    Title: [38°1’25” N 109°32’25” W](https://elvisrowephotography.com/?p=66672)
   Post_Date: 2019-06-22 15:48:45 Post_Date_GMT: 2019-06-22 22:48:45
 * I think the problem is somewhere in content/post-meta.php but I’m just not good
   enough at PHP and WordPress to track down the issue. I’ve observed similar behavior
   in Author (can provide detailed example similar to above if needed) and Tracks.
 * Thanks for any light you can shed on the subject.

 * Thanks for using Founder!
 * It sounds like there could be an issue with how Founder handles the dates when
   outputting them.
 * Could you share your date/timezone settings here? In the General settings menu,
   you can find the Timezone, Date Format, and Time Format settings which will help
   me track down the root cause of this bug.

 * Sorry for the delay.
 * Could you try uploading this updated copy of Founder to your site: [http://pics.competethemes.com/7e0bbe2778ba](http://pics.competethemes.com/7e0bbe2778ba)
 * You’ll need to deactivate and delete Founder on your site temporarily before
   you can upload the new founder.zip file. You won’t lose any settings or data
   from doing this.

 * Swapped themes, uninstalled and deleted founder, uploaded new ZIP you provided,
   activated “new” Founder theme. Appears to be working a champ! Correctly displaying
   one post a day on the correct day since 6/22.
 * When you update Founder on WordPress.org will I automagically be updated as well
   or should I revert to the WordPress.org version and wait for your update?
 * Thanks again for taking a look at this [@bensibley](https://wordpress.org/support/users/bensibley/)!
   I’ve hit you up a few times and you’ve always been gracious and responsive with
   support, even from us freeloaders. Keep up the great work and please remember
   I also saw this behavior in you theme Author AND Tracks.

 * That’s great to hear! You can stay on this version of Founder and when the next
   update comes out, it will include the same edit so no further action needs to
   be taken.
 * And thank you for the kind words about the support 🙂
