Hi @aquariusrising68,
Thanks for reaching us,
Are you referring to the outline box as shown in the screenshot here: https://prnt.sc/4oW4bk4SVrS1.
If so do you want to remove it? Kindly let me know and I will get back to you.

No actually just below those boxes. The Aquarius Rising logo boxes. Can I attach an image here?
This outlined box actually also appears on other pages of my site as well. for example if you click on the images on each individual portfolio page to enlarge them – a similar outlined box appears upon clicking on the thumbnail.
This never happened before.
I feel it must have something to do with a hover setting? or an “on click” type command setting but I have not changed anything other than to have updated the theme recently.
This never happened prior to now.
All my plug ins are updated.
so it’s just odd.
if anyone can help with a solution , i would greatly appreciate it.
I am in the middle of a job search and want my website to look good for potential employers.
Thanks!
Tricia

Hi,
Any word on what this issue might be?
I would like to fix this asap.
Hi Again.
I was checking to make sure this is not a browser related issue and I noticed that even in Microsoft Edge there is an odd boxed outline occurring when I click on an image that has a link as described above.
Attached are links to those images.
Hi @aquariusrising68,
Sorry for the delayed response,
Can you please try adding this CSS inside WordPress Dashboard > Appearances > Customize> Additional CSS and check it once?
a, a:active, a:focus {
outline: none;
}
Let me know if this helps you or not and I will get back to you.

Thank you Barsha!
That worked like a charm!
Hi Barsha.
I did mark this resolved but I still have an issue –
I think the outline used to highlight around the dimensions of each piece of art on click – so you would notice you had clicked and were being redirected – which is important.
Is there a a way to get it to work like that as it used to?
Hi @aquariusrising68,
Thanks for reaching us,
Can you please share the screenshot mentioning the issue so that I can inspect and provide an appropriate solution?
Please share the screenshot and I will be back.

Hi Barsha –
There really isn’t any screenshot that would show you the problem.
Now with the hover effect removed users don’t know that an icon is clickable and I think this causes confusion.
(See my home page and the gallery icons)
In the past the hover effect would appear as an outline around the full dimensions of the icon or image link.
As stated previously, i the hover effect suddenly started showing up as a long rectangular outline in the center of the icon/image after recent updates.
Is there a way to keep the outline hover effect on the icons/images but have it appear around the outside of the full icon/image?
that was how it worked previously.
Thanks
Let me know.
