Hello, @grxx!
Thank you for your time posting about this problem.
Please note, that there are a few of German language versions on WordPress, Deutsch (Schweiz, Du), Deutsch (Schweiz), Deutsch (Sie) and Deutsch.
The translation is only available for Deutsch, so please make sure to select that one.
Or alternatively, you can create a new translation file, which will be created over the existing German translation file.
Please follow this language code table, when creating the file. For example, in case of German (Austria) the filenames should be ffwd-de_at.po and ffwd-de_at.mo.
Cheers!

Hi,
thank you. Although my wordpress installation was already on “Deutsch”.
I’m a little bit lost for now, since i don’t get, how i can point the plugin to use a specific language file?
Even more strange:
If i use the Shortcode for the events on a page it shows the “see more” link in german: “Sehen Sie mehr”. But the time format of the event is still english (August, the 17th…).
But on the Widget also the “see more” link is english. ^ ^
Sincerely!
