 * Hello everyone. This is something I’ve never come across, but I’m hoping somebody
   will tell me it’s simple to fix.
 * When I go to the front of my WP installation (thegildedhour.com), this is what
   shows up in the url box:
 * `http://thegildedhour.com/?doing_wp_cron=1444939405.7474019527435302734375`
 * For both Chrome and Firefox How do I get rid of it?
 * Any help much appreciated.

 * Navigate to your wp-config.php file using your ftp client or file manager and
   look to see if you have `ALTERNATE_WP_CRON` defined anywhere. Reference info:
   [https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Alternative_Cron](https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Alternative_Cron)
 * If not, disable all of your plugins and see if the symptom changes. If it does,
   enable them one at a time until you find the one that’s causing the problem.

 * Thanks for the quick reply. Just to be clear, if I do find ALTERNATE_WP_CRON
   in my wp-config.php file, should I delete it to see if that solves the problem,
   before testing all the plugins?

 * Hi greenery,
 * if you find that it might be like bellow,
 * `define( 'ALTERNATE_WP_CRON', true );`
 * you may delete that full line or change true to false. Hope it make sense 🙂
