Support » Fixing WordPress » odd behaviour, POSTS redirect to static main page, heeelp

  • –wow, i was already asked to URGENTLY update to 3.03 for security reasons by my hoster – yet this forum is still stuck on 3.01 ???

Anyway, not my question, just surprised, and yes, i run 3.03.
    The odd thing is this:
No matter what Theme i change to, no matter what i name a blog entry (Post) they always redirect straight to the static main page of my site, weird, not sure if i simple ticked somewhere something on i did not know that it would do something like this, but checked around and am still clueless why this happens, anyone having the insight on this or where it’s most likely at (again, most unlikely something to do with Themes, all showed the same reaction)….

Check what you have set up as your site’s front page in Settings->Reading. A link to your site would also help.

Yes, of course i have the STATIC HOME PAGE selected to be the front page
    – but i never noticed this means posts redirect automatically to it, even from within the admin panel when i click on “view post” or even when i copy the link and paste it into a browser window !!
That’s the problem, in other words, no posts can be opened any way i try!!

    Yes i can!
    It is http://buycelergen.cz.cc/
and i have currently one post published: http://buycelergen.cz.cc/buy-celergen/
and this goes as mentioned right back to the main page, and i sure am puzzled because that is not the way i know WordPress, just no clue how or what i may have ticked on to have this happening (all pages work fine, just the blog entry redirects to main)

What page did you select to be your front page in Settings->Reading?
