    Hi @pcliff069,

The total time will depend on how many images you’re compressing, though it certainly shouldn’t take from 9am, until 10pm.

We had an issue with one of our Amazon DynamoDB instances which caused issues with the queue. If your images were sent to queue 4 which from what I can see they were, they should complete shortly.

We’ve just finished updating the affected DynamoDB and are now running a clean-up script. Expect it to be completed within the next 1-2 hours.

    Thanks!

    Hi @pcliff069,

If it still isn’t working, can you reach out via the contact form on our website please and we’ll take a look.

We’ve seen on one persons install that their mod_sec rules were blocking the returning of the images.

Our team will get this sorted for you. πŸ™‚

    Thanks!

It has now been close to 96 hours and still it sits there.
I reached out via the contact form no response.
I tried to de-activate it, to uninstall it.
And when I re-install there it is – is to to become my raven?

This looks like a great product but the inter-action with the user leaves a lot to be desired, especially the inability to close it done or to even know what it is doing.

    Hi @pcliff069,

Something definitely isn’t right with that; there are no images waiting for compression that are over an hour old.

We will get this sorted. πŸ™‚

As it looks like we didn’t get your message via the contact form, can you please email: support(at)octify.io and cc in me (jack@octify.io) and I’ll personally make sure this is resolved.

Also, I hear you on being able to stop the process to reinitiate the compression; this is something we’ll be adding to the plugin.

    There is still no change

    Is there an uninstall package?

    (@octify)

    Hi @pcliff069,

    We’ve responded to your email.

The best way to uninstall completely, is to delete the plugin, then delete the options it adds to the wp_options table. We’ll add a removal option to a upcoming release.

Once that is done, try re-installing to see if it’ll work correctly.

    Thanks!
