    Hi,
I’m using oceanwp free theme with elementor pro. I created a custom header with elementor, under the theme library but when i want to select this at the customizer, header- general header – custom header i have no option where to select the premade header template i created in the library.
First i wanted to simply use elementor pro theme builder, but there i have issues – somehow the background does not go to transparent – even if I set up in oceanwp transparent header.
That’s why i tried the other via, to do it via the theme library, but it did not help.

Thanks for your advice in advance.

  • Hello,

Kindly go to Dashboard > Pages > Edit the home page > OceanWP settings metabox > Header tab – select default from the header style. Now go to the customizer settings and check the custom header section works properly or not.

aah, great, it works now. Thanks a lot! The only thing I don’t get, that why the background is white. I already checked the header settings, no color set up, and also in the template i used, no colour defined.
What if if i want to create a pop up menu with elementor pro – in that case which option should I choose at the theme header settings?

Reopening this issue. However i was able to set up the header with Elementor pro, i still have an issue. The issue is, that when i scroll down sticky menu is there, shrinks as it should, but when i scroll back to the top, the menu dissapears. I set z index to 10, than to 100 on the menu section, but it seems the first section of the page overlays it. I also tried to set this first section (on the page) to set to 1, but it’s still not working. Could it be, there is some script on in the theme which overrides the elementor set up?
    Pls check http://eqcellence.hu/szolgaltatasok/
    Thanks
