I just published my Privacy Policy page. My desire was to have it only showing only at the bottom of the web site, and not on the main menu. Unfortunately, it is currently showing up in 4 menus!!!
Please tell me the WP DESCRIPTOR NAME for each of these positions, so that I can better understand it when I read the WP documentation going forward!!!
    1. main menu just below the header
    2. widget navigation menu in footer 1 (white in Primer theme)
    3. a menu going across at the bottom of the page (background color in Primer theme)
    4. Privacy Policy link below #3 at the very bottom
I don’t mind having #4, but please show me how to

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I fixed number 2, but please show me how to eliminate #1.

Hi @mcolorswporg, thank you for reaching out!

In order to add a “different” menu in the footer and at the top of the page, you will have to create a separate menu for each.

    1. Access Appearance -> Menus -> Create a new menu –
    – Create a new menu – “Footer Menu”.
    2. Choose the menu you want to edit –
    – Add desired items to each menu.
    3. Once you make the edits and add desired items for each menu, choose which one you want to display and where –

Let me know if this worked for you. πŸ™‚

    Best Regards,

Thanks, Pavle. I have it the way I want it now. Your reply gave me the start I needed, but then I still needed to watch a YouTube tutorial to more fully understand the different menu options. I believe that the UI for WP menus page needs to be better designed, unfortunately.

Hey @mcolorswporg, thanks for reaching out.

I’m glad that I managed to help you in some way, at least. πŸ™‚

    Have a wonderful day!

    Best Regards,
