 * Aloha,
 * I have the full LiteSpeed server setup, via licensure with WHM.
 * I’m unsure of the recommended (or even suggested) setup path, but I have noted
   that both Memcached & Redis are Disabled on my configuration. I am on PHP 7.2,
   which I understand has an incompatibility with Memcached.
 * Is the “best practices” setup to move to PHP 7.1, or implement Redis?
 * If the latter, is this an appropriate implementation method?

 * Thanks. -Ian

 * Hi,
 * Yes, that will install redis extension for PHP.
 * Best regards,
    Ruikai.

 * Ruikai,
 * That is only part of my question. Is there a resource that I can be directed
   to, or should I open a ticket? As I mentioned, I am a subscriber to this service,
   and I would like to better understand the recommended configuration.
 * Specifically:

 * Hi,
 * Please check this [page](https://pecl.php.net/package-changelog.php?package=memcached&release=3.0.2)
 * memcached works with php70/71/72/73
 * ideally , if you do not have compatibility issue , should try stick with higher
   PHP version if possible.
 * you can stick with php72 and go either redis or memcached.
 * Best regards,
