    Plugin version Version: 2.0.2.1

    Hello,
All works perfectly well, great plugin.

Though I tried to hide the e-mail address from my HTML code.

    I use the following shortcode:
    [dynamichidden organizer-email uneditable “CF7_get_post_var key=’organizer_email’ obfuscate=’on'”]

I still find my e-mail address in my HTML:
    <span class=”wpcf7-form-control-wrap organizer-email”><input type=”hidden” name=”organizer-email” value=”xxxx@xxxx.com” size=”40″ class=”wpcf7-form-control wpcf7dtx-dynamictext wpcf7-dynamichidden” aria-invalid=”false” /></span><br />

Is there something I don’t understand?

    Thanks and best regards

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

The only CF7 DTX shortcode that supports ‘obfuscate’ is the CF7_get_custom_field shortcode.

I’m actually surprised you have an ‘organizer_email’ as a normal post variable. Normally that would be stored as metadata, not on the post object itself. Are you using a plugin that modifies the posts table?

    Hi Steven

    Your solution works
Replacing CF7_get_post_var by CF7_get_custom_field did the job. The e-mail address disappeared from the HTML code. Perfect.

    Concerning your remark
Indeed ‘organizer_email’ is a metafield stored in the metadata table.
As much as I know, I do not use a plugin that modifies the post object.
Nevertheless CF7_get_post_var managed to get the value properly.

If you are interested I can give you an access to a test version gto check it in details. Just contact me privately so I can open you an access.

    Best regards

    Christian
