Hi Maxime,
yes, our 3 oAuth mailers (Gmail, Outlook and Zoho) all use OAuth 2.0 standard to authenticate the user.
Could you please let us know which mailer did you have in mind and which section of the documentation you were referring to, so we can update it?
Thank you and have a nice day!
Hi Maxime,
that is a Microsoft Exchange blog post. That’s is not our documentation page.
Our plugin (the Outlook mailer available in Pro version) uses OAuth 2.0 standard to connect with an Azure app that uses the Graph API to send emails.
Take care!
Yeah I know thats not yours 😉
Just that they announced to drop the support for basic auth and then looking for a solution. Since in your documentation it’s written you support oauth and not oauth 2.0, it’s quite confusing.
Hi Maxime,
we always used the oAuth 2.0 for our Outlook mailer (pro version of the plugin). And I can’t find any reference to the oAuth (without 2.0) mentioned in our Outlook mailer documentation page.
Take care!
