OAI-PMH

I understand this plugin works for DOAJ, but DOAJ supports the OAI-PMH protocol. Could I use this plugin to archive posts on other databases as well that use OAI-PMH (like http://www.oclc.org/oaister.en.html)?
If so, I would need a base URL for the OAI repository. I’m not sure what that would be. I could try submitting this plugin’s feed. Probably wouldn’t work.
