 * Hi – I switched this on at our site yesterday (Thanks for building it – it’s
   important).
 * I’m wondering if our site caching is causing a problem as the page count seems
   very low for us -> [http://i.imgur.com/vG9gAAD.png](http://i.imgur.com/vG9gAAD.png)
 * The site your plugin is active on had ~20k+ page views and ~5k uniques yesterday.
   The plugin was only switched on in the afternoon so I didn’t expect it to be
   the full amount, but still the numbers BlockAlyzer is reporting are very different.
 * I’m wondering if this might be down to caching? We’re hosting on WP-Engine, which
   uses all sorts of caching to deliver performance.
 * We’d really love to get a true understanding on the number of ad blockers being
   used, so any guidance from you to set it up would be really appreciated.

 * Thank you for your message.
    The BlockAlyzer should work despite cache, unless
   your caching is extended to ajax calls.
 * This is more a question to WP-Engine then.
 * The numbers, especially the unique visitor cound being lower than the site views
   is indeed strange.
 * Thanks

 * Thanks for the response Thomas.
 * I’ll put this to WP-Engine and see if they can help out.

 * WP-Engine came back to me (they’re good like that) with the following, “Ajax
   calls aren’t cached on our server but Object Caching might be something that’s
   affecting your numbers.”
 * They’ve disabled the setting on our install so we can test.
 * I’ll report back on the figures.

 * Hi Thomas – Having let it run for approx five days with the Object Caching turned
   off, BlockAlyzer is now reporting this -> [http://imagizer.imageshack.com/img673/6636/aFeme7.png](http://imagizer.imageshack.com/img673/6636/aFeme7.png)
 * While they’re higher than before, those figures are well below what we’d be expecting.
   So we’re back to scratching our heads.
 * Weekends are traffic-quiet for us, so GA is report ~100k page views and ~25k
   uniques. So BlockAlyzer reported Pageview figures are ~1/4 of what they should
   be and Uniques ~1/2.
 * Do you have any other suggestions as to what we could do to fix / what might
   be the issue with BlockAlyzer under reporting?

 * At least the ratio between page impressions and uniques is more realistic now,
   but you are right that it should be closer to your Analytics stats.
 * It might still be a JavaScript error, but I will track it for a few days on one
   of my sites again to be sure. Maybe you can send me your site’s url so that I
   can check if there is a general conflict.
 * Thanks

 * I compared the stats on one of my own sites now and can confirm that Google Analytics
   count was higher than the BlockAlyzer count.
 * However, when I visit the page with different browsers and settings, the count
   in the dashboard seems to count every one of them.
 * I think I need more data and tests and would like to ask every user to check
   himself. I basically need to find a condition where the page visit is not counted.
 * Thanks
    Thomas
