    What numberformat does TablePress expect?

If i use the german format for numbers (dot for thousands, comma for decimals) the table starts sorting wrong. F.ex.: 12.345,67

But also if i use the english format (just the other way around: comma for thousands, dot for decimals) the table won’t sort right. F.ex.: 12,345.67

The only way i found is not to show the thousands and use the dot for decimals: 12345,67

But that gets a bit unhandy once the numers grow.
    F.ex.: 12456789,12 is less readable than 12.456.789,12

Thanks for any hints in advance,
    Phil

    Hi Phil,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble, as well as for the late answer. As I was on vacation, I didn’t have a chance to reply earlier.

Number formats can indeed be tricky, and by default, the sorting algorithm will only recognize “12345.67”. To use other formats, you will need to install extra algorithms, for that, please see this TablePress Extension: http://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-sorting-plugins/

    Regards,
    Tobias
