Numbered Pagination for Custom Post Types

I have developed a plugin using custom post types … I have created a pagination method which works fine with custom permalink structure /%postname%/ … but I need to create a numbered pagination which can work with default permalink structure… Can anybody help me with this .. all suggestions and help will be appreciated ..
