Why do only four terms show up under Taxonomy?

I have more term that that to categorise my posts and would like to be able to fine-tune the stratification of the lists.

    Hi there,

If the term is empty, it won’t show up on the taxonomy list.

We’ve actually changed that in the most recent update. But this most recent update is still in alpha version. https://wpshowposts.com/wp-show-posts-1-2-0/

We’re in alpha 3 now. That tweak to show empty taxonomies was applied on alpha 1.

Not sure what is happening, but the number of terms available in the list editor page has now dropped to two, and I am not able to create two category lists as a result.

I currently have five taxonomic categories in use for different post types.

Did you mean the term list on the WPSP editor page? As I’ve mentioned before, on 1.1.3 empty categories don’t display on the term list in the WPSP editor page.

If you want the terms to show up, the workaround is to assign a dummy post to each of the terms so they all appear on the WPSP edit page.

No these are not empty categories.

The full list of categories in use is not showing up and those that were are actually starting to shrink.

    That’s strange.

All terms with posts within the taxonomy of the specified post type should display as shown like this: https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQubLr62

Is this not what you’re seeing?

    Let us know.

Here is a screenshot of what I am seeing. I currently have five populated categories in use, but can now only see two of them.

Note that the scroll bar to the right of the window with the “terms” in is actually greyed out and cannot be moved.

I am not sure why, but suddenly it has started working. Must have been some sort of cashing/server error that was causing the problem.

    Thank you for your time.

That’s possible. Glad you got it sorted. 🙂
