number box in time format – can’t see how

    I am trying to set up a form for event submission. Date & tel No. are catered for but I can’t see how to add a box for time. Using the number box is as close as I get.

    <label> time ..[number number-187 min:00.00 max:24.00] (just put a number I will assume pm)</label>

    and using decimal numbers for min/max seems to be inappropriate. In this example negative numbers are possible.

    It seems an obvious requirement, is it that this is just not catered for? Ideas anyone?

    Tried the boxes in Safari 5, FireFox 69, IE11, Chrome 40 & 72 and the date is handled differently which despite not being a required field can act like one. (Gave up before Opera was tried). Caused problems with net-naives!

    Solution seems to be make all boxes text, or move on!
