• Just greedy and crazy. Old lifetime license expired.

Zero list styling out of the box. Zero table. Lists ugly. Only has styling settings for the form. Doesn’t even separate the values. Unnecessary time spent building a view. No default view to use. Visual editor in views creator strips styling of other editor plugins’ sgortcodes. You will most likely experience that the same shortcode doesn’t always work everywhere. DO NOT COPY THE SHORTCODES FROM THE DOCUMENTS, WRITE THEM OUT OTHERWISE THE FORMATTING AND TYPOGRAPHY MAKES IT NOT WORK, (or a copied bug), ALWAYS CLEAR YOUT TEXT SIDE OF THE EDITOR WHEN MAKING CHANGES BECAUSE THESE SHORTCODES LEAVE TEXT THERE EVEN IF VISUAL EDITOR IS CLEARED! IF YOU ALWAYS COPY SHORTCODES FROM THE DOCUMENTATION, YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER TO KEEP TAKING OUT THE “QUOTES” EACH TIME!

HAVE TO CLICK PREVIEW TO SEE CHANGES EACH TIME, CAN’T JUST REFRESH ALREADY OPENED PAGE BECAUSE IT WON’T SHOW.

Admin entries search filters by submission order, not by keyword match. Search “apple” and there’s be “apple” shown first as well as on page 2 of the results. Have to set up a View just for optimal admin filtering of entires.

[formsresults id=x] doesn’t use helper codes like ip or updated_at as params.

HTML filed doesn’t show for above code.

Helper codes in views aren’t listed as options for fields.

Practically no shortcakes for value stats.

Can’t use two fields as the title in a graph code with a space.

Can’t assign colors to fields for graphs or change bar size. Graph doesn’t list field bars in order matching the shortcode.

Doesn’t allow more info in the graph field result’s popover.

Can’t easily deselect what fields you don’t want shown in a table. Have to add each fields label in the styling code

No values by conditional logic like Ninja.

No google map to plot results.

View creator doesn’t let you choose a page template for preview. Have to create a new page just to use the page template options.

Doesn’t allow total calculation for two filtered feels.
    https://formidableforms.com/help-desk/insert-field-totals-and-statistics/

Doesn’t allow separate visibility and submission permissions. Whoever can see it can submit to it. Not useable for spreadsheet.

No search box on the entries edit page.

Have to go to each entries edit page. Can’t quick edit on the whole table on the entries tab. Can’t build a front end view for an unpublished form and use in-place edit.

Default entry creation date time is wrong , ahead by 5 hours.

No [time ago] for entry edits by secs, minutes, or hours.

Conditional logic only hides, show is broken.

    Some shortcodes don’t render in view content [x time_ago=1] ,[x sep=”, “].

More for data visualization than an attractive simple entry form.

  • Hi Stacy,

If you purchased a lifetime license at the time they were offered, then you have lifetime updates for Formidable. Did the renewal email give the wrong idea? If so, I just want to clarify that if your lifetime license is expired, you will continue to have automatic updates to Formidable. The only thing you lose when your license is expired is support in our help desk.

Let me know if you have any questions about this!

    Hi Jamie,

I hope all’s well. I’m interested in the Frontend Submissions add-on; however, I’m not clear on what the annual fee is covering. Will you please clarify? After the first year is over, will I no longer have use of the plugin, or will I only lose access to help desk support? If I don’t renew, will I be able to have access to routine updates/releases?

    Thanks,
    Senita

Hi Senita. Our terms for new purchases are different from those with grandfathered benefits. After your first year is up, renewal is required for continued access to support and plugin updates. However, our Enterprise plan includes lifetime updates.

If you still have questions about this, can you please open a ticket in our help desk where our team can best assist you? Thanks!

    Hi Steph,

Thanks for the quick response. You’ve answered my question.
