Novice: Post Carousel, Fitness Gym Layout & projects

    Good morning,

    I’ll begin by saying this template has made my FIRST endeavor at creating a site supremely easy. With that being said, please be gentle with my first timer questions.
    The first 2 are more for aesthetics, the final instructional

    1. Is there a way to remove the title from the Post Carousel?
    2. I’m using the Fitness Gym layout for one page. Is there a way to make the 3 images in the SiteOriginHero area square vs rectangular?
    and finally

    3. I have the expansion pack and attempted to create a project for a page to pull from one specific category, but have been unsuccessful. Is there a step by step on how to achieve this you can provide? I would be most appreciative.

    In regards to #3, Im thinking a portfolio project isn’t necessarily what I need. Instead I’ve made a Page that pulls from a category. Is there a way to grid a page that pulls from a category?
    AND
    I am now unable to edit my HOME page. I have 5 pages and am only unable to edit this one. I get this: http://bamalovesoul.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/HomePageEdit.jpg when I attempt to edit. Please advise

    Hey @djrahdu,

    thank you for choosing Bento! I’ll go over the issues in the same order below:

    1. In case you mean the title of the Post Carousel itself, you can avoid displaying it by leaving the “Title” field blank in the widget settings (to enter widget settings, hover over the respective Content Builder element while in the page edit view and click on “Edit”. If you meant the individual carousel post titles, they are a part of the Carousel’s design and are currently not removable.

    3. The projects in the Expansion Pack are a separate content type which you first create and then display on a static Portfolio page (more info and details – in this part of the theme manual). The portfolio page does not allow pulling posts or projects from specific categories at the moment; you can try building a taxonomy-based query using e.g. the Post Loop element of the Content Builder. The theme doesn’t offer category grids at the moment, but this feature is in the pipeline.

    Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the theme review team.
