    I purchased a theme from word press uploaded content and it will not preview for me. Do I need to download WordPress software if I am running my site on wordpress.com?

    Please give more details.

    1. If its www.yourblog.wordpress.com then it should work properly.

    2. Are you telling that you are using WordPress.com for hosting your blog and have a custom domain name with them? Then post your query on the WordPress.com forum and the staff will help you out.

    3. Or is it your own hosting panel you have your blog in? If you are confused between WordPress.org and WoredPress.com, read this.

    If you are on WordPress.com, then you will NOT be able to upload themes. If you are self hosted then you are at the right place. But you would need to give more details.
