 * Is there a shortcode to add the notifications icon to the main menu?
    Just like:{
   display_name} or {user_avatar_small}
 * Maybe have {notifications} which display the bell icon and the count?

 * We dont have a tag for nav menu item for real-time notifications at the moment.
   Will add this to our user suggestion list though.

 * Hi,
 * My menus accept custom code so the nav label looks like this:
 *     ```
       <i class="um-icon-ios-bell"></i>
       <span class="um-notification-live-count count-0" style="display: none;">0</span>
       ```
   
 * a little css and javascript magic solved the rest.
