 * since yoast is so arrogant with stupid notification that keeps reappearing on
   every page load despite clicking it off, is there a viable alternative to the
   plugin, or is this something they are entitled to do?

 * We have to “Click here to find out what’s new!” to dismiss the annoying notification.
   The normal “dismiss” doesn’t work.
 * I agree. This is too much.

 * thanks 2bearstudio
 * while I appreciate the free access to valuable plugins, the trends toward being
   annoying in attempts to force monetization goes against what made WP great to
   begin with. developers going against the spirit of open source should hear about
   it. I hearby pledge to never buy anything from yoast. now leave me alone.
 * I found some code snippet I added to functions.php to make it go away… which
   is ridiculous, but less unsavory than being made to see their messages…

 * Dismissing “Yoast SEO has been updated to version 3.2.4. Click here to find out
   what’s new!” doesn’t work and hasn’t for a while.
    It’s a feature to enhance
   the user experience…I’m just waiting for it to be implemented on the login screen
