Notification to all users from moderator

    Hi Sir, Madame,

    We are using Learnsdash as our online learning system and bbpress as a forum where students can ask questions. All students of one training can access the forum which belongs to that training.

    However, we would like if a moderator post a new topic on the forum the students who follow that training will get a notification that something is posted on the forum.

    Moreover, it would be amazing if only the group who are doing the training at the moment gets this notification. And the previous students will not get this notification.

    Is it possible to do this with this plugin? Or could you help me with this?

    Hi @aronadmin,

    Thanks for reaching out. How are you controlling student access to forums? Is it via the Learndash bbPress Add-on?

    bbpnns by default will probably not do what you need, at least not without some hacking. It has the option of sending out messages to roles and sending out messages to forum/topic subscribers.

    I have a few premium add-ons that bridge the more popular membership plugins with bbpnns, but I don’t yet have a Learndash bridge as I wasn’t aware Learndash had integration with bbPress. I’m trying to get a copy of their bbPress add-on so I can write the bridge for it.

    Yes, we are controlling the student access to forums is via the Learndash bbPres plugin. That plugin gives the student access to one of the forums of the particular training.

    Which premium add-ons do you advise to sent students automatically an email when a moderator posts something on the forum?

    bbpnns will do the sending. I’m writing the bbpnns learndash bridge add-on so that only the correct students get the notices.
