 * Hi – I had set up the Notification Settings and they were working great but last
   week they stopped working. I set the “From Name and Email” & “Reply To” to [comment_author]&[
   comment_author_email] but it’s now sending from the name of the blog and the
   admin email. I’ve tried to reset the fields but there are still not working.
   Any ideas?

 * Hi [@cfaust](https://wordpress.org/support/users/cfaust/),
    Thanks for your message.
 * Using shortcodes in the notification header fields is a feature of the Custom
   Fields add-on. If you were able to use it without the add-on prior to this, this
   was unintentional.
 * If you are using the [Custom Fields add-on](https://betternotificationsforwp.com/downloads/custom-fields/)
   however, please get in touch with me via [Priority Support](https://betternotificationsforwp.com/priority-support/)
   so that we can investigate what might be happening.

 * So you are saying maybe it was working because the plug-in allowed that but maybe
   since an update, that functionality is allowed only if using the additional paid
   plug-in “Custom Fields Add-on”?

 * Hi, before I buy the plug-in, I just want to make sure that I will be able to
   have the email that alerts the admin of the comments will be “from” the commenter
   so the admin can just reply to the email directly to them.
 * Thanks!
