• At the moment, as the admin, the comments/notes I make will notify the author, but I am not notified of any responses that the author then makes in reply. Obviously, this hinders collaboration.

The email setting for comments notification currently excludes comments/notes by the author:

“Edited and commented on (using the Peter’s Post Notes plugin) by someone who is not the author, without having changed the status”

Would it be possible to include an option to notify the admin when a comment is submitted by the author, so as to enable greater collaboration?

  • Yes, I ran into the same problem. My workaround was to change the status of the post to draft, then do my note and save as draft, then the user got the message, and could redo the post after some edits.
I also wish that we could skip the step regarding change the post status, when the notes plugin is installed, but I love the system when it works.

    Best regards Thomas
