    I’m using the simple contact form template and doing some tests:
    I’m filling in the form using an email addresses of mine.
    While I receive the “Send To Email Address” notification emails (field is set to {admin_email}) I don’t receive the Reply-To emails (field is set to {field_id=”1″}).
    I only received it the very first time I tried the plugin after installation but not now.
    I also checked the spam folder but there’s nothing there.
    I deleted the form and created a new one to no avail.
    Also I tried to fill the form using the email address I’m using for the administrator: I still receive only the administrator’s emails and not the other email.
    What I am doing wrong ?

    It sounds like you’ve tested all the right things so far, and for the next step I’d recommend installing an SMTP plugin.

    Email delivery issues are unfortunately growing across the internet, in large part as a result of more (and more clever) spamming efforts. So as email providers work to filter out the massive amounts of spam that’s getting sent, sometimes legitimate emails get caught too. Sometimes they get sent to spam, and sometimes they don’t get delivered at all.

    But the good news is that this is a relatively simple fix with an SMTP plugin.

    We’ve shared more details on why this happens, how SMTP helps, and our recommended SMTP plugins over in this article. This also links out to step-by-step tutorials on how to set up each plugin.

    When you’ve had a chance to choose one of those options and get it set up, could you please let me know how it goes? 🙂

    I unfortunately can’t add too much plugins to my site as my hosting service doesn’t allow it.
    As I said, I filled out the form using the admin email (I am sending the email to myself) and I am indeed getting the email notification that is delivered to the admin but NOT the email that should be sent to the recipient that filled out the form (me again) despite the two emails are the same. So I don’t think it is an issue with my hosting service since I receive one email at least.
    Hope this makes sense.

    Anyway I was using another contact form before and I was not having such issues.

    I definitely understand why it might feel odd that you’d suddenly be running into email delivery issues. Some people see these issues only sporadically, others only with one or two specific email addresses, yet others will have never seen an issue with email delivery on their site yet suddenly all emails will stop delivering, etc.

    So lots of variations, however they can all be solved by the same thing: installing an SMTP plugin. This is the same approach that tons of other sites (including wpforms.com) use for reliable email delivery. And so, I would strongly recommend finding a way to prioritize this on your site. We of course hope you choose to keep using our forms, but even if you decide to use an alternative I would still recommend this.
