# Notification not working

 * Hi,
    I made a form with a notification active sending message to custom recipient
   to warn me as soon as someone sent a form, but mail is not working ? Is-it still
   necessary to add action in functions.php ? If so why there is a setting for notifications
   with an Active checkbox if it does not work ? Regards

 * That’s weird! You shouldn’t have to do anything else to activate notifications.
   Could you screenshot your form notification settings and send them here?

   notifications. For information, create entries is on.

   deactivate notifications and try a solution direct in functions.php Screenshots

 * Just seen this thread and thought i’d try and help.
 * Have you tried putting an email address as the From in the notifications.
 * The other thing you may need to update is your SPF record.
    At the moment it 
   is v=spf1 include:_mailcust.gandi.net ?all
 * You may need to add the website IP address so would change this to
    v=spf1 a 
   ip4:188.165.14.151 include:_mailcust.gandi.net ?all

 * James is totally correct that it might be the From field that is stopping the
   emails from sending. I would recommend setting it to an email address, if you
   want a custom name as well use the following format “Name <Email address>”.
