# Notification line breaks

* The notification emails generated by the forms no longer break at the end of
lines in the WP Forms Lite notifications editor window. I have had to edit the
emails by inserting
at the end of each line in the editor. This has only
just occurred, following the update to version 1.9.8.7

* Thank you for alerting us about this and sorry for any trouble caused.
* We’re aware of this issue with line breaks in the notification email editor in
WPForms Lite after the 1.9.8.7 update. This will be fixed in the upcoming update.
In the meantime, using
tags as you’ve done is a good temporary workaround.

* We have released **WPForms Lite 1.9.9.2**, which includes a fix for this issue.
Please update the plugin to the latest version, and you should find that line
breaks work as expected without needing to manually insert `
` tags.

* Thanks. That hasn’t fixed it. I don’t want to add code to the site when I can
easily insert line breaks – I don’t spend much time creating forms, so it’s only
a minor irritation.

where the issue persists. In those rare cases, the only permanent solution is

* However, I completely understand your preference! If creating forms is an infrequent
task for you, manually inserting the `
` tag is a perfectly valid way to handle
it if you’d rather avoid adding custom code to your site.
