# Notification for specific post ID

 * Hi, I’m trying to create a notification to comment author for only one specific
   post. Is it possible to do that so an author of a comment gets a notification
   after comment is approved? I don’t want to do it globally for all blog posts 
   but only for one.
    I know I can create custom post type but this will mess with
   my permalinks and the post won’t show on a blog page. Would appreciate any help.

    Thanks for your
   message.
 * You can set-up a notification that sends out when a comment is approved however,
   BNFW doesn’t have any options for doing this on a post-by-post basis unless the
   [Global Override add-on](https://betternotificationsforwp.com/downloads/per-post-override/)
   looks like it may work for you.
