# Notification for private posts?

 * Hi,
 * I want to use private posts for internal communication..
    Unfortunately, if I
   set a post to privately published, I do not receive a notification. So my question
   is rather trivial:
 * Is there a way to get notified for new private posts, changes made to them or
   comments on them? Maybe I also just overlooked something.

 * Hi semf,
    Thanks for your message.
 * Not currently, no. BNFW relies on posts transitioning to the published status
   for New Post Notifications to be triggered.
 * I’d recommend using a separate WordPress installation as an internet communications
   tool. You’ll probably find more plugins work better in this situation too.
