    Hi,

I have a form set up to send a notification email when a submission is made. I’m having difficulties with this email not containing all the user-created formatting from the form. Notably, line breaks and bullet points are being lost. I’m using textareas for these sections.

Is there a way to ensure the notification email displays the entry as the submitter would see it?

    Thankyou for your help,

  • Hello,

Are you using our free or pro version? Technically unless something is stripping out the code, it should display as the user has put it in. I suspect that the email program or service may be not permitting the information to pass through the email host to the email, etc?

    Thanks,
    Joseph

    Hi Joseph,

I’m using the free version at the moment. As far as I’m aware, nothing is stripping out the formatting – we’re using GoogleApps for our emails.

Some formatting (eg, bold) is being kept, but as I said, much of the other formatting is being lost.

    Wamss,

Even though you are using the free version I would like to look at this a little further, including at your website.

Can you please fill out a ticket on VFBPro.com and ask for me by name in the ticket mentioning that I asked you to contact me through our ticket system. have a super weekend!

    Thanks,
    Joseph
