Hello there, I searched this forum and see that others encountered this problem as well (old posts) but I do see no solution. I have running Wordfence on 5 websites and on one of them the notification emails are bounced and sent to info@mywebsite.com.

The Forgot password check works fine.
The test emails in Tools>Diagnostics>Other tests work fine too.
I do not have a SMTP plugin.

What can be the problem? I switched email addresses from a Gmail account to a company account and vice versa.
And why is it bounced to the info address? My client is getting annoyed.

    Thank you.

    Peter

Hello @peterpine and thanks for reaching out to us!

If you have already tried the test email and the forgot password, that lets us know that your email is working correctly, as Wordfence send out email via your website and not our servers.

Something we can try is to disable all the email preferences and save the settings. Then go back through and enable the ones you need to be turned on. Sometimes this will override any issues that were saved previously.

If this doesn’t help, can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated.

Let me know if this helps or when you have sent the report.

    Thanks!
