    Hi there,

thank you for the plug-in. We installed it just yesterday, and got this notice on the homepage:

Notice: Undefined variable: appip_running_excerpt in /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/amazon-product-in-a-post-plugin/inc/amazon-product-in-a-post-functions.php on line 78

Disabling the plugin the notice disappears.

Could you please advice? Thank you.

    Hi @head84,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will address it in the next update.

One thing to note, there is a quick fix in the plugin settings that allows you to turn off notices. Go to the Advanced Settings tab in the Plugin Settings menu and there is a check box for the quick fix.

You should also try, whenever possible, to not have notices and warning set to display on your site, but instead in the logs (this is a php setting). Having them display on the site opens you up to possible security issues because of the amount of information the notices disclose.

    Warm regards,
    Don

This should be resolved now (in version 4.0.2).
