Notice: Undefined index: before_widget in /home4/ekhaw1k9/public_html/wp-content/plugins/elementor-addon-widgets/vendor/codeinwp/elementor-extra-widgets/widgets/woo/recent-products.php on line 76

i use to get this error message since last few days, i tried a lot to solve the problem myself, but never got a proper solution for this so far,

i contacted plugin and theme company for several times and came to know that the issue is in wordpress php coding.

your help will highly appreciated , thank you

Hi @namkha

In order for anyone to be able to comment on this, they’d need to see the code around line 76 in the referenced file.
But a quick google search I just did make me suspect that this code is not publicly available.

If something needs to be corrected in WordPress core, then the best way to suggest that (and follow-up on it), is to open a ticket in https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ (unless there already is a ticket about this specific issue).

This is not an issue in core, but in the Elementor Addon Widget plugin. More specifically, in the elementor-extra-widgets library they are using.

The code is publicly accessible here: https://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/elementor-addon-widgets/trunk/vendor/codeinwp/elementor-extra-widgets/widgets/woo/recent-products.php

You have to contact the plugin developers, or ideally the developers of the third-party library (https://github.com/Codeinwp/elementor-extra-widgets) about fixing this issue in their code.

You also could suppress the notice by setting the php error level. See php documentation about this. It should be possible to set the php error level in the wp-config.php i think.
