    Hey

I have just installed the free version of Relevanssi 3.1.9 on our multisite installation of WordPress. It installs and activates fine, however when I try to index the site nothing indexes. I have tried just selecting posts, changing the number in the “add X documents” box and deactivating and activating the plugin. Nothing seems to work.

Everytime I click the “Build the index” or “Continue indexing” buttons, the page refreshes and I see the “Indexing complete!” but the “State of the Index” is still blank. No numbers, nothing.

I know multisite searching isn’t available in the free version but does this extend to indexing too? I don’t want to search across multisites but I would like to use the free version on each of our sites.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

    Many thanks,
    James

Relevanssi free does not work in multisite environment. You need Premium, because even searching for single site in a multisite system requires Relevanssi to have separate database tables for each site, and the free version doesn’t know how to do that.

So, Premium is the way to go, if you want to make this work.

Thanks for getting back to me Mikko.

That’s a shame as I’d like to have tested that before buying.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

We do have a no-questions-asked refund policy, so you can buy and try, and if it doesn’t work out, we’ll refund.
