# Nothing Here … Create a Post

 * Using with Thesis 1.8.6 — can not figure out why the event calendar shows up 
   sometimes, then not when we have an event? Out first!
 * But what’s really confusing is the suggestion to create a post with we get the
   Nothing Here message? Why not take us to create an event?

 * Using with Canvas Theme 5.8.2 – How do I make the Events page show up at the 
   location of my choice? Mine currently shows under my “News” navigation bar tab
   which is currently set as my “blog” page. Does it always show up on the page 
   set as “blog” page when “View All Events” is selected?

 * Thanks for your post. I’m sorry you’re having trouble. Have you tried deactivating
   other plugins to look for a conflict, or switching to a default theme like Twenty
   Twelve? If you need help, please read [this guide to testing for conflicts](http://m.tri.be/ml).
 * If you can isolate this as an issue that’s inherent to The Events Calendar, we’d
   be happy to look into it further. Unfortunately, we can’t help troubleshoot conflicts
   here on the free forum. If you do find a conflict, you can try getting in touch
   with the developer of the theme or plugin and see if they can shed some light
   on the issue.

 * I’m not sure I completely understand the issue you’re having. Have you double
   checked you menu settings? You might also check for a conflict as I recommended
   above.
