Also, can you provide a link to the site, let us know whether creating a user through the wordpress dashboard works, whether you’re using any attributes in the shortcode, and what types of fields you’re using on your site?

Hello, this was fresh installed last night, no updates in between. WP Version 4.2.4.
I am able to create users from the dashboard. However, I can’t login using the login page in the front end. https://willies-transports.com/login/ (no error message either) – using shortcode [login]

In the console, I see a 403 (Forbidden) error.

Update
After seeing the 403 error on my browser’s console, I decided to take a look at my host configurations. It turned out my hosting provider had some ModSecurity rules in place. After talking to the support team and whitelisting, the registration form works as intended.
I hope this helps someone in the same position.
