Nothing happens when I hit submit. Nothing Posts, not impressions are registered. Really, really strange. DOn’t see any conflicts that could cause an issue.

    Hi @gohawks,

Can you please try the troubleshooting step outlined here:
    https://yikesplugins.com/support/knowledge-base/i-hit-submit-on-my-form-but-nothing-happens/

Let me know if that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hi Tracy.

Thanks for the prompt reply – I have done this and we are still experiencing the same issue.

    Hello,

I tested the form and the page did refresh for me.
Can you check and see if my email is on the list?

Are you using double or single opt-in?

    Thank you,
    -Tracy

We are using single opt in.

No Impressions, no submissions, zero conversion rate.

When you go to the actual list in MailChimp, do you see my email address added to the list?

    I do not.

    Hi @gohawks,

There is a JavaScript error occurring that is breaking the form.

Are you using some type of optimization/minification plugin? If you are, can you try disabling/turning off JavaScript minification?

You could also try setting the form to non-AJAX.

    Cheers,
    Kevin.

    Hi @gohawks,

Were you able to look into Kevin’s suggestions, above?

    Thank you!
    -Tracy

Yeah – i am not able to quickly do that though since the files have already been minified – are you able to see what file is actually causing the issue? I have disable the plugins that minify, but the scripts remain minified.

    Hi @gohawks,

The file that is being flagged by the console is bootstrap.min.js (and the error is Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <). This is coming from your theme at {your_site/wp-content/themes/Nodus/js/bootstrap.min.js?ver=4.8.1.

There seems to be something going wrong with the theme enqueue’ing files though. If you try to go to the URL above, you will not be taken to the Bootstrap JS file but instead an HTML file. It’s as if the theme is trying to include a JavaScript file by supplying a link to an HTML file (forcing the browser to interpret it incorrectly and then throwing a fatal error).

Let me know if that makes sense. Is it possible for you to get in touch with the theme folks and ask them about this? Have you made any customizations to the enqueue’ing of files that might be related to this issue?

    Let me know,
    Kevin.

    Thanks Kevin.

I have got that straightened out I believe. Still not able to post an email address though.

    The error is still occurring:

    bootstrap.min.js:6 - Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <

I am not seeing that error throw in Chrome or Safari – what browser are you in? The error should occur on each page since it is built into the footer.

gbpro.net/wp-content/themes/Nodus/js/bootstrap.min.js?ver=4.8.1 – now loads the correct js file instead of that html that was there before.
