Hi Dominik,
Dominik, can you please share a screen shot of your post and permalinks settings page?
Have you published the post or the post is in draft?
Thanks,
Sami
Hi Sami,
a) Permalink structure: https://snag.gy/Xfro8I.jpg
b) Customizer – set permalinks: https://snag.gy/sK3fut.jpg
After saving post (attached to category) as a draft I have link like “?p=605”
And after publish the link is editable and looks like:
https://snag.gy/MvsDOt.jpg
(category is not included as a part of permalink).
PS. I have some plugins deactivated: Custom Permalinks, Single Category Permalink and WCK – Custom Fields and Custom Post Types Creator. Could this influence something?
Thanks,
Dominik
Hi Dominik,
I have created a localhost to check this issue.
My permalinks-customizer settings are: http://www.screencast.com/t/CYA7FCPxr
Permalink Structure settings: http://www.screencast.com/t/YrjZOoHW
Post: http://www.screencast.com/t/LAh63Mq7R
Everything goes fine for me. I have activated custom permalink, custom fields, custom post types and Single Post permalink plugin as well. But does not get this issue.
I am using WordPress 4.5.2 and the latest version of the Permalinks Customizer which is 0.3.2.
Thanks,
Sami
Hi DOminik, Any progress in your work? Are you still facing the issue?
Hi Sami,
Thank you for your time!
I did a lot of tests and the problem I had was probably caused by conflict with Simple Post Type Permalinks – used before.
Now, on a fresh install, I have a PERFECT WORKING configuration:
– post: %postname% (without slush)
– CPT 1: %postname%/ (with slush!)
– CPT 2: %category%/%postname%.html
I am moving my site from oldschool engine to wordpress and want to do it with care about links 😉
With your great plugin it seems to be possible! 🙂
Thank you very much again!
Dominik
Hi Dominik, Good to know about your progress 🙂
Best of Luck for moving your site 🙂
Thanks,
Sami
