When I try smush.it nothing happen. Browser just shows loading. I waited for single image for 20 minutes but nothing... Then I tried manually via "http://www.smushit.com/ysmush.it/ws.php?img=" link, it works.

What should I do? This is general problem or only i have?

  2. Try using the version 1.6.2 from here: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wp-smushit.1.6.2.zip

Nothing change... At least its timeout after 1 minute, not forever.

  4. @erincfirtina do you still have the same issue?

Then I tried manually via "http://www.smushit.com/ysmush.it/ws.php?img=" link, it works.

That doesn't mean that the API was available...
99.9% of the time the web interface works just fine.
It's the Yahoo API that has issues.

Same. Its un-usable on one of my sites. Works on another??!! Hopefully sorts its self out. Seems to be a few problems recently with recent updates

  6. @webbadger Does that site by any chance use a CDN for images?
If so then smush.it can't work. See this post for more details: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/smushit-error-could-not-get-the-image-while-processing?replies=5#post-4077403

If you don't have CDN there, can you think of anything that makes this site different than the others? Something that may help us figure out what's going on...

    Awaiting your reply,

    Hi Ari,

No I dont think so? I dont really know what cdn is.

Its a stadard wordpress installation. No adjustments and files are in normal directory.

    Thanks tho

  8. An update is coming pretty soon... So far it looks as if this issue has been resolved in the latest release.
Stay tuned and please update as soon as the update is available. :)
