    Hi shahadatuk,

    First of all thank you for downloading the plugin and visiting the support forum.

    I’m afraid we’re going to have to be a bit more specific here. What exact options have you changed that haven’t changed on your menu?

    If you can give me admin access to your site I can try and investigate further for you but you will have to give me a little more to go on here.

    I can see that the menu and scripts/styles are being included correctly so it may be something deeper.

    I would suggest trying turning on the “use external styles/scripts” options and seeing if this works for you initially.

    Please let me know how you get on

    Many thanks

    Peter

    Hi shahadatuk,

    Did you manage to get this fixed yet?

    I haven’t heard anything back yet but the 1.9 release should be out by the end of the day which will include the option to include the scripts in the footer which also might help solve your issue.

    Please let me know how you get on once you download the new version.

    Many thanks

    Peter

    Hi Peter Featherstone,

    Thank you very much for your cordial response.

    I did not able to fix the problem yet.

    Hi shahadatuk,

    Ok, when the 1.9 version has been released I will let you know, we can download that and see if it fixes your issue.

    If not, we will investigate further.

    Apologies this hasn’t been sorted yet.

    Many thanks

    Peter

    I have the same error. Nothing changed in the MenΓΌ.

    I make this reply to follow this thread.

    Hi guys,

    Neither have you have really given me anything to go on here.

    Can you please help me out a little and let me know exactly what the issue is.

    The 1.9 has now been released. Can you please upgrade, try the external CSS/JS options and use JS in footer and let me know how you get on with that

    Many thanks

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

    i upgraded to the new version and everything works fine now.
    I think there was some problems with javascript and i didn’t find out the real problem. Maybe a problem with a lazy image load plugin. Finally i deactivate it.

    Great plugin. Thanks for the hard work. πŸ˜‰

    @shahadatuk: Did you make all the changes in then options panel of the plugin? It seems that you didn’t specify in the options which menue do you want to replace with the responsive one.

    Hi Marcus,

    Great news that you got it working!

    I think the new options for Js/Styles being included externally and the footer option will make it more compatible across different setups, as at least one form of inclusion should work!

    The menu looks really nice on your site, a good use of colours!

    Always a pleasure to provide a plug-in when people use it well. @shahadatuk, if you give me access to your wp admin and FTP then I can take a look at why this is still not appearing for you, but as Marcus has said, try going through all the options, selecting a menu, setting the breakpoints etc. correctly and let me know how you get one.

    Many thanks

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

    i have only one CSS suggestion. (hope you understand the following with my bad english skills) πŸ˜‰

    I have the menue structure:
    – A
    — AA
    — AB
    – B
    — BA
    — BB
    – C
    – D

    when i make a background color for the current page the follow thing happened. i am on the “B” Site and the background from BA and BB are changing too. (they take the background color for current page)

    the problem is your CSS Syntax:

    #responsive-menu .responsive-menu li.current_page_item a {
        background: #666666;
        ...
    }

    with this syntax you say that every “a” in the hierarchy after the current_page_item changes the background-color.

    i changed the colors for myself in my own CSS and now it works fine now.
    for example you can see my changes in the firebug: http://www.ferienwohnung-nahe-ostsee.de/ferienwohnung-rostock-schwaan-mecklenburg/

    so my proposal for your css code is the following:

    #responsive-menu .responsive-menu li.current_page_item > a {
        background: #666666;
        ...
    }

    i think you know the ” > ” selector. i will only make this link for others, who find this thread. http://css-tricks.com/child-and-sibling-selectors/

    hope you understand all?

    Hey Marcus,

    Great call, and your English is great! Where are you from?

    I hadn’t noticed that issue previously.

    I have added it to the 1.9 release as a change and will also be available in all future versions.

    If you want it now, you can delete your current plugin completely and re-download, or wait to the next version, its up to you πŸ™‚

    Thanks for pointing this out for me!

    Many thanks

    Peter
