# Notes isn’t working

 * Hi,
 * When working on a website with clients, I always use the notes feature. But now
   a problem has come up.
 * The button is visible, but when you click on it, nothing happens. The only thing
   that happens is a # appears after the URL. It works fine for me as an administrator,
   but not for anyone with a different role. This problem occurs on multiple websites.
 * Does anyone know what might be causing this?

 * The Notes feature is an **Elementor Pro** exclusive function and requires an 
   active Elementor Pro license to work properly across user roles.
 * If you already have an active Elementor Pro subscription on these sites, please

   so they can investigate your account permissions and site setup further.
