# Note on Notices

 * **Note:** In version 3.7, I added a few automated notices (including activation
   notice, tutorial, review prompt, and giving prompt). Be assured that these notices
   are only displayed to users with the `GT_ADMIN_GLANCES` capability (default: `
   edit_dashboard`). Additionally, notices can be completely disabled by utilizing
   the `gt_show_notices` filter.

 * **Additional Note:** Version 3.9 removes the tutorial and review prompt. Unwieldy
   notices were obnoxious. This should provide you a better experience.

 * **Another Additional Note:** Version 4.0 completely removes admin notices and
   instead adds an additional option to the settings tray. This option can be hid
   by utilizing either the `gt_show_notices` or `gt_show_applause` filter.
