 * I have a client (non profit) that would like to add a simple note field to his
   Give installation. Is the only option to purchase the add-on for additional fields
   at $87?
 * Could there at least be a simple note ability with a 140 character limit minimally
   available?

 * There’s two options for custom fields:
 * 1) You can create custom fields with code using [our documentation](https://givewp.com/documentation/developers/how-to-create-custom-form-fields/).
   And here’s [a working plugin](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/note-field/github.com/WordImpress/give-snippet-library/blob/master/form-customizations/custom-fields-plugin.php?output_format=md)
   based on that documentation.
 * 2) You can purchase our [Form Field Manager](https://givewp.com/addons/form-field-manager/).
   That will allow you to add as many fields as you like to your forms, though we
   always encourage folks that the fewer fields the better to optimize your donor
   experience.
