    A great idea!
Fantastic tool – if it worked.
    But it doesn’t work.
It has several breaks in the installation, and most commonly for me, is the creation of the register and activate pages.
Pretty important features for a community building tool.
See, when users can’t register – there won’t be much of a community.
Tried several installs, on several platforms. It just doesn’t work.
    Steer clear of this one.

    Yeah.
I guess installing it on a working vanilla installation was too much to hope for.
Possibly not justified. Still, in my opinion, valid as a user experience.

I activated it 3 separate times and 3 times it failed! Tried it with Elementor and that was of little help. I’m not a computer guru and am struggling with trying to build something from scratch but man oh man there’s a lot of components to one of these communities.

    Hi there,

I’m sorry to read you were not able, unlike the 200,000 users who successfully installed it, to install BuddyPress.

BuddyPress “works” most of the time. When it doesn’t work it’s probably due to a specific WordPress configuration we are not aware of. In this case you can get help from our community using the support link of this Plugin’s page.

If it’s not enought, we’ll be happy to help you out from our buddypress channel into the WordPress’s slack.
